I guess it doesn't take a big imagination to know where these boys want to head to college, when the time comes - well, where their parents all headed and LOVED it! So that makes it easy for Grandma and Grandpa to know what to get them for their birthdays!
G-o-o-o-o-o-o Cougars!
. . . and that includes Miss Addie!
Such a happy sight - Daddy Jeff reading Addie's birthday book to Addie and Mommy Stacy reading Luke and Max's birthday books to the twins. It thrills Dad and I that all of our grandkids have been read to A LOT and they love books!
Abby and Maddy are all ready for church the next morning. What a thrill it was to have our kids and grandkids go to our branch Sunday morning. Sydney sang a gorgeous solo, "Abide With Me; "Tis Eventide." Rick and Jodie had to leave Saturday after the baptism and the blessing, but Abby got to go home with Ryan's family, where she spent a week hanging out with them and the Youngs.
We had to take a pic of these "yellow" fashionistas! (Can a guy be a fashionista?)
Mindy and Jeff headed for Las Vegas Sunday afternoon and we got to take care of Miss Addie and Mr. Jack. When Addie woke up from her nap, she could hardly believe her good fortune when we gave her a Krispy Kreme left over from the reunion for a snack. She didn't lower her hands from her mouth until the entire doughnut was gone!
When Grandma and Grandpa were trying to find Jack's jammies at bedtime, he came running in the room, holding these up and saying, "Here they are!" So we put them on him. We later found out they were Ellie's that she had left behind.
Jack thought he was pretty funny - when we looked at them closer, we realized it WAS pretty funny, so we took a pic and sent an email to his dad. It got a big reaction!
