At about 7 AM (which is really pretty good,
since we didn't get to bed very early on Christmas Eve,
well, actually, Christmas morning),
the Young kids were lined up at the door,
waiting for Grandma and Grandpa
to get up and come out of their bedroom,
so they could run into the Diner,
where Santa had visited the night before.
Ready, Set, Go!
Officer Luke
Frozen dolls - yay!
Character glasses are the rage!
Maddy told Mindy and I, in a conversation,
"I can't live without sparkles!"
Jake LOVES Maryland's uniforms!
Mom Stacy took lots of pics of thrilled kids.
Grandpa Roger helped Officer Luke
put together his new tool bench.
Grandma Pam got her new favorite scent -
Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia.
Maddy and all of the grandkids had lots of fun
riding Maddy's new scooter.
After Krispie Kremes, Roger and I got showered and dressed
and went over to Ryan and Emily's to see what Santa brought them.
We got just a few pics,
but Anna was thrilled with her new purse!
And Santa brought Becca and Sarah this amazing doll house,
fully assembled!
When Stacy asked her kids what they wanted for Christmas dinner,
they said they wanted the Christmas "beast" (from the Grinch),
so we had roast beef, carrots, mashed potatoes and rolls.
Ryan, Em and kids joined us for a delicious Christmas dinner.
This pic represents what we all did a lot of for the next week or so -
Eat, Eat, Eat!
After all, isn't it the one time of year when you can indulge
and not feel guilty?
You caputred the excitement of Christmas in these pictures. I'm so glad you had such a great time.
ReplyDeleteI love the facial expressions on the kids as they saw what Santa brought! Christmas is meant to be shared with family! PS I want to smell your new perfume - it sounds wonderful!
