Londyn's Wedding in Mesa

Lots of grandkid happenings took us to Mesa in mid-May!
Granddaughter Londyn's wedding to Tucker was another joyous family wedding this spring!

All events happened on May 14 and the first was a ceremony in Stacy and Tom's backyard at 10 AM.

Friends played flute and violin in the background
as Londyn walked down the aisle with her mom and dad.

Memories and tributes were shared by moms and dads.

The bride and the groom each shared memories and thoughts.

Londyn's nephew, Charlie, bore the rings up the aisle and handed them to the couple.

Tucker's dad conducted the sweet ceremony.

Roger and I took this opportunity to take family photos of our kids and their spouses.
We were so happy that we could all be together for Anna's and Londyn's weddings!

Londyn's sisters, Sydney and Londyn, made beautiful bridesmaids!

At 1 PM, Londyn and Tucker were endowed in the Gilbert Temple in front of an overflowing room of loved ones.
We are so proud of these two wonderful young people!

Rick and Jodie's Katie, Ryan and Emily's Anna and Londyn's sister, Maddy, are the same age.

Syd's Aunt Missy and cute Charlie were buddies.

After the wedding photos at the temple were taken, Ryan treated us at his favorite ice cream place.

Before the dinner in the backyard at 6 PM, more photos were taken
and Roger got some quick snapshots.

Tucker has four brothers and his parents have many siblings, Tom's parents have five kids and we have five - there were 175 family members invited - 100 on Tucker's side and 75 on Londyn's side. There were 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen + siblings.

Stacy and Tom worked so hard on their backyard to get it ready, weeding and hanging lights. Bricks held down helium-filled balloons in the pool.

I caught this snapshot of Anna, who was married less than three weeks previous to Londyn's wedding, showing her dad some of the pics before the dinner.

We got a photo of Stacy's aunts so long ago at her wedding and it was one of her favorite pics, so she wanted a pic of Londyn's aunts.

So, of course, we had to have a pic of the uncles!

This is Tucker's immediate family.

Tucker's family is younger than ours - these are his siblings and families.

We had Londyn and Tucker's favorite food - a taco bar, Mexican sodas and Jalapeno Buck's shave ice.

We took some pics of the yard set up before the dinner.

After dinner, the dancing started. D J Pete, Londyn's cousin, did a super job again and he had everybody rockin'! I love how the kids were dancing with their parents!

Londyn changed out of her wedding dress, then she and Tucker jumped into the pool!

Then the bridesmaids, groomsmen and others followed. Oh, to be young again, but I doubt if I would have done that even then! Those bouffant hairdos were buggers to deal with!

The wet and the dry wedding guests gathered on each side of the sparkled path leading to the newlyweds' car to send them off.

It was a big day of celebration and fun! I hope Roger and I are around for many more of our grandkids' weddings - we love each of them so!
