This little angel was the adoring focus on Saturday morning, March 7,
when all family members who could be there congregated at Mindy and Jeff's home
and Fiona Kathleen Lind received her name and a beautiful blessing from her father.
Aunt Missy took these darling photos of sweet Fiona.
The Linds make happy, healthy babies!
Roger got up early and drove to Ogden to pick up Great-Grandma Lois so she could enjoy the occasion with us.
It makes it even more special when she is there.
Little Fiona seems to agree! All babies and little kids love Grandma Stratford!
As we began, Mommy Mindy expressed love and gratitude to all of us there and bore her testimony
of her blessings as a mother of Heavenly Father's children.
The Priesthood men in the circle for the blessing:
Fiona's cousin, Josh, Uncle Rick, the bishop of Jeff and Mindy's ward, Grandpa Roger, Daddy Jeff,
Grandpa Brent and Uncle Scott
All of Fiona's grandmas and her grandpas
We are so proud of this wonderful couple,
who are raising four of these sweet little spirits,
fresh from heaven.
Happy Grandpas
Fiona already knows how to pose for pics!
Some of Fiona's pretty aunts:
Meredith, Missy, mom Mindy, Stacy and Jodie
These are the lucky family members who got to be here for this special occasion
Sadie looked so pretty, we all wanted our pic with her!
She is a special and talented young lady.
Buddy cousins Ellie and Abby
This is the first occasion that Josh could stand in the Priesthood circle.
We are so proud of this soon-to-depart-for Hong Kong missionary,
and we absolutely adore him!
The Jeff Lind Family -
Adelaide, Mindy, Fiona, Jeff, Charlie and Jack
We were served a delicious brunch after the Blessing -
a variety of yogurts, granola, fresh berries, Rosemary's delicious breakfast casserole, milk, orange juice
and freshly baked chocolate and almond croissants.
The croissants were delicious! Right, girls?
Mindy and Jeff loved having Grandma in their home - her first visit.
Grandma's professional arms put little Fiona right to sleep!
Fiona is wearing the engraved bracelet that her namesake from Ireland, Kathleen, sent to her.
Roger's brother-in-law Craig, sister Susie, Shellie's daughter, Kara and Roger's sister, Shellie stopped to pick Grandma up to take her with them to the BYU Young Ambassador concert in Provo.
They went to the matinee and we all went to the evening performance - details in the next blog.
It was a beautiful and celebratory occasion that we feel so privileged to have been a part of,
and we thank God every day for our 25 precious grandchildren!
Oh, she's a pretty baby. What a beautiful family activity and beautiful pictures capturing it all!

DeleteWhat a perfect day this was! I was so glad you and Dad and so many other family members were able to come to Fiona's blessing. Thanks for all your help with the food and preparation and for getting Grandma there. Everything went just perfectly and my heart was so full that whole day. I'm truly blessed beyond measure to be a mother to my four sweet, healthy children and to have been raised by such loving parents to use as an example of how to raise my kids. I love you both so much!
