"Moments To Remember" - Graduation Time

They say, once it starts, it is like a snowball rolling down a hill, getting bigger and bigger as it rolls.
It seems as if our first two grandchildren graduated high school just yesterday
(Actually, it was two years ago),
and this year it is Sadie's turn.
The rest of the 25 will be following close behind.

Roger and I arrived at Rick and Jodie's the night before graduation.
We were greeted by this beautiful display of Sadie's talent as a  potter.
It is a hobby that she loves.

Sadie's next-door-neighbor, Wendy, took these lovely pics of Sadie.

Friday morning, Roger and I went for a walk and took Blakey to the park.
He loves the slide!

These two are best buds.

Jodie planned an early dinner before the graduation ceremony,
and we had the traditional Baskin Robbins turtle pie
to celebrate the graduation and Rick's birthday.

We took pics in the backyard of our beautiful graduate.

Sadie is a top scholar.

Mom and Dad are proud of this daughter, soon to be a coed at BYU.

Grandma Pam and Grandpa Roger love this wonderful young woman!

So do Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Bart!

These two have a special little bond and they are alike in so many ways!

There is just something about fathers and their daughters!

The graduation ceremony was held at the U of U Huntsman Center.
We parked, then Roger lent his arms to the two grandmas.
Dr. Bart had to report to work at the ER.

There she is on the Jumbotron!

We surely do love this special granddaughter and are so proud of her!

As luck would have it, Sadie's sister, Abby "graduated" from 6th grade the next morning.

Her school went all out with a program including speakers, music, walking for their diplomas,
a reception outside afterwards and even a flash dance that the 6th graders had prepared.

The PTA provided balloons and lots of yummy treats.

Roger and I love it when we visit our cute families -
we usually get more than one grandkid thing going on and we can be a part of it.

High school graduation is such a special memory for moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas,
and we loved being at Sadie's.
Now we just have 22 more to go . . .
